Yowayowa, also known as Natsumi Hayashi, is a Japanese photographer. She mainly photographs levitating self-portraits. Yowayowa uses a self timer and tripod to capture helself levitating. She uses objects in her images to make the photos seem more normal, which contrasts to the fact that she's levitating.
In this task I was required to take photos of the models levitating. This task links to the theme of movement and responds to the levitation work of YowaYowa. My intentions was to create the allusion that they are levitating.
